WHAT IS TABERNACLE:

During our summer break we took some time to clarify our identity and purpose for this upcoming year. After all was said and done, we realized that our original vision is not too far from where we find ourselves in this new season of Tabernacle. We want to create a place for people to connect deeply with God. We want it to be active and alive, as well as deep and meaningful. We want it to involve music, prayer, and a host of other experiences of God, and active relationship with Him through His son, Jesus. We feel led this season to think of Tabernacle as a prayer meeting, a prayer encounter. Prayer in essence is this: connection, conversation, being with God. Prayer is different things at different times. Sometimes it is talking, at other times it is singing, listening, being still, and sometimes it involves taking action. At times it is done in solitude, and at other times it is done with others, in community. It is always, however, communicating with our Heavenly Father. Therefore, you will notice this will be more of an intentional focus in the upcoming year at Tabernacle gatherings.

TABERNACLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The purpose of Tabernacle is to provide an atmosphere in which people longing to know God can connect with Him in a deep and authentic way, through worship.
